Sorry for your loss Kat. Such sad news. I am a big fan of James’ written work and his podcast. I love how enthused he was about music and how that was so apparent in said work. I’ll keep following. Best wishes to you and all James’ friends and family.

I’m so very sorry and sad to hear this news. I know that I don’t need to tell you this but what James did mattered a lot. I followed him around the internet over a few years, mainly for the OCD stuff as so much of what he wrote resonated with my partner’s experience. I read his The Face article for the first time and sobbed, and since then I’ve sent that article to anyone around me that mentions being “a bit OCD” (because I am insufferable). His wit, sensitivity and empathy shone through in his writing. Sending love from one internet stranger to another. ❤️
