HIYA.
I went on the telly the other day. Forgive the mess of my spare room. I thought they were going to let me have my usual Zoom backdrop on, which serves to hide the big pile of shit stacked behind me and also to direct people to my podcast. At five minutes to broadcast they asked me to turn my backdrop off - so yeah, there’s a big pile of my spare bedding, broadcast around the Arab world. Hope you enjoyed that Kuwait.
Is it just me or does this lady look a bit like Ron Mael from Sparks?
I’ll keep this brief because I’m going to the seaside for a few days and I should have been on a train about two hours ago, but before I log off for a bit, I wanted to direct you to the new episode of The James McMahon Music Podcast. It’s principally about Oliver Anthony on The Joe Rogan Experience, but it leads into a bunch of things I’ve wanted to say about music media for a while now. It gets a bit ranty. Maybe you’ll enjoy it. I can’t be the only one who thinks these things. I refuse to believe it.
Hey, while I’m here, thanks to everyone who forwarded me links to job opportunities the other day. I’m full steam ahead on looking for full time work at the moment and I really appreciated it. If you missed that, you can find my CV here.
Enjoy the episode.
This town ain't big enough for the both of us
